yo JooL , hoeveel cc heeft jouw brommer dan want Ik zie dat hij een boring heeft van 38,5 in ze starterpost dat is een halve mm meer boring als 55 cc EU wet...

@ tomos_SLO you say your piston has a boring of 38,5 isnt that half a mm over the law for a 50cc moped ? oor is tje cranckshaft rotation smaller than 45 ad it is with an "normal" tomos ?

yes aftermarket parts in slovenia you can get. the most famous is the exasut lipnik or mf power, but we aslo enlarge the pistons and cylinders, to about 40-42. you can also put a bt80 or e90 engine, wiuth a pop speed about 100-110 kmh.

so has anyone driven a apn6?

w00t those e90 engines you are talking about , are those the ones with 90cc ans 3 manual gears, I hade one of those engines about a year ago they were worth pretty much money here in holland =)

a good used engine of an e90 is here worth about 100€, or less

I had one of those, sold the rolling frame and engine apart from each other (engine to a mate who got it to fit under his tomos automatic sucide mission ) made about 250 euro's with all the parts I had, while I "bought" the moped from my uncle (who was moving somewhere else) for I meal at McDonnalds =)

nice to know, the tomos automatic (with the 90cc engine) scored 12,3 BHP on the dyno with a standart carberator (open air filter TwinAir)
a tuned (by me ) standart cilinder
and a custom exhaust on Luc Foekema calculations

this e90 a very good alternative to any 125 motorbike. is very good in everything. a very low cost bike. but is rare here in slovenia and probably in dutch very very rare right? and a newer model is a 87-89 tomos bt80, even better than e90, a non-tuned goes so fast...
hmm a 90ccm automatic - that probaly not factory right? have u seen a tomos d6, 6 manual gears, 15bhp+ @ 18000 rpm (is racing model from 1960s), goes like hell
oh and in dutch u have to ragister motorbikers with less than 50ccm?

all bikes with 50cc(m) or less are mopeds, if they have more but it is on a moped frame is jused a "scooped up" moped and you can get fined or have tot turn in your moped if you get caught 2 times by the police :u

that e90 under a tomos automatic was more welding and grinding as it was a good fit but we got it to work and it went faster then we imagined, but going faster than 90km/ph isnt that save on a tomos because the brakesline of forks like to snap when braking on those speeds and when given to much throttle on low speeds the "torque" was so immense the moped fliped over twise with someone on it
but anyway those kind of projects are good fun

But I see you also got bt80 are those rare to because youre right as these tomoses wich are more than 50 cc(m) are never legally imported in our country because they aren't legal
But if those bt80 engines arent that rare in your country we mightbe able to clase a deal so I can use one for my moped sprinter but anyway are those BT80 80cc(m) bikes with4 manual gears or are they automatic 2 speed because if they are 2 automatics engines they would be perfect for our ONK (open dutch championship) sprinting I want to go to next year =)

Yeah I have a question for you, i wondered how much does a new normal 2-speed automatic cost in Slovenia (since I like to know the difference between there and here, here it will cost about 1000 euro's easily for a standard version.

Edit: and do they sell upgrading kits in your country like normal cilinder kits (faster 50cc or 70cc's) or bigger carb's, and how much do they cost (at average)?
