The progress of a never ending project. I've tried to create something different from the rest of the tuned mopeds common in the US. Let me know what you think.

Hi, welcome at our forum. Your tomos looks nice but i don't think it is very special or different from all the other tomosses. I don't know how it is in your country, but here there are very many tomosses that look like yours. Goog luck with your project and hope we hear more off you.

looks pretty good but. spray those rims in the same color then it will look allot better . and the front light is pretty uniek because we can buy one like that one it isn't the same like ures

That frontlight is also available in holland I've seen it before..
I like it anyway, it gives the tomos a streetrace kind a look

But I would change the colour of the rims and use other back springs

Its a work in progress, I'm going to paint the back wheel black and add adjustable shocks. My plan is also to make some fenders and a racing seat pan from carbon fiber or fiberglass. I'm going to keep it clean looking and pretty close to stock. I wanted something a little more comfortable for longer rides as my other bike is quite harsh. Anyway: KICK that mirror.of slash it.. it looks very euhm..: ugly (my opinion)

It might be ugly but, Its very good against any "coppers" and nice for overtaking.

and in some countrys its against the law to not have a mirror on a moped.

I agree.. but is it alowed to "Tune" your tomos?I don't think so..
But yeah.. thats my choise.. but it looks nice.. do you keep "Flaming" with that exhaust? or not?

The silver bike is a sachs moped, I welded new motor mounts and a frame brace in. The motor, wiring and wheels are tomos, the fuel tank is from a general moped, the seat is home made. I agree that the mirrors are ugly but I havent found any good replacements yet, I'm thinking about bar end mirrors. When you say "flaming" do you mean flames coming out of the pipe? No flames that i know of. Moped tuning in the US is years behind, most tomos are left stock looking and are quite plain. the streetfighter look isnt comon at all over here, most people think the headlights look unusual which was the point of adding them. In the end I hope to have a pretty unique bike, at least compaired to the others in the US. Thank you very much for the comments, I hope to learn a thing or two.

You must have mirrors? (Sorry my english is very bad )

I belive mirrors are required, I wouldnt ride without them though. Mopeds don't get much respect on the road where I live.

Lowering your bike would be nice...

280mm schocks and maybe lowering the seat?

The roads in US are way different of what where used to in Holland. No special roads for bycilcles and mopeds stuff like that.
That together with a lot of drivers not used to mopeds as they are in Holland, creates an intolerant situation for moped riders.

in Dutch:
In US zijn nietecht speciale wegen met fietspaden waar je op kunt brommen etc. Tevens zijn er hier meer fietsers en brommers , waardoor de automobilisten er veeeeel meer aan gewend zijn met brommers in het verkeer om te gaan. in US is dit niet zo waardoor je een vrij intollerante situatie voor brommers in het verkeer krijgt.

I know for a fact that i've never seen another Tomos in the US with that kind of Fairing on the front end. Where did you pick that up from Saab?

Its a Ufo headlight for enduro motorcycles, there is another one very similar made by acerbis. I got it on ebay, But most online powersports retailers have them also. Drivers around here will run you off the road if you are not carefull, I've had people cross the center line and come into my lane nearly hitting me. Sometimes people will throw stuff at you too.
