I really like the home made ignition and the colors. Very nice project. 8)
I want to make my own programmable CDI ignition with rpm sensor so i was very interested in your ignition.

I was thinking of something like this:
http://www.transmic.net/90S1200/Schema_ ... iceV15.pdf

It basically pick up the rpm and power (2x) from the original ignition coil and stores it in a capacitor, and the timing is controlled by the microcontroller, that displays the rpm on display, with optional temperature sensor, and i can make a speed sensor with it and show it on the same display.
I can program a little so i think i make this. Only thing i need now is a good microcontroller that i can program with usb, and flywheel with magnet strip for the pick-up. Then i can program 2 different timings, 1 fast timing for driving with a curve for high rpm, and a slow timing for the police controls. (speedtraps)

i had small changes of ports durations (exhaust 170...)
and now i have problems with adjustment of carburator, same problem as before...

I have a 17.5mm DellOrto carb as well, and i know what all the right connections are.

The green one is vacuum, for use with a vacuum fuel tap. You must seal this one if you don't use a vacuum fuel tap. The red one is for the oil feed line. If you use mix fuel, close this as well. The big connector on the other side is the fuel intake. Don't leave any connections open, as they suck in air, messing up the mixture. Always put in the choke, and connect it to 12V DC (battery) if it's electric. Otherwise it messes up your fuel mixture. I can suggest you should buy a hand choke. They are cheap, and don't use 12V DC.
If you connected the carburator good, with an air filter, warm up the engine and drive full throttle for a little while and stop. Turn off the engine direct and check the spark plug for the right color. Black = too big main jet. White = too small main jet. Adjust main jet until the spark plug is nicely brown colored. Screw the idle screw a bit in so it runs a bit faster. Screw the air mixture in. Then screw the air mixture screw out 1.5 turns. If you give full throttle, and the engine does not go full rpm directly, turn out the air mixture screw until it reacts good. Then set the idle so it runs nice and slow with a warm engine. If you drive full throttle and the spark plug turns black or white again, change main jet until the plug turns brown again. If you have problems running 1/4 to 3/4 throttle, you can change the position of the needle with the small clip which holds the needle in the throttle slide until you have good reaction overall. Sometimes you have to change little things until it is totally perfect.

I have a 2004 Standard, and adapted it for a A55 Streetmate cilinder. I run with main jet 58 with a home made filter, and reach top speed of 65km/h with A55 Streetmate cilinder and Tecnigas Next R exhaust. The filter is made from a rubber that fits good, with a double layer of strech underwear. I use this because i don't have an original A55 air filter and a power filter does not give any improvements, and i have to use a bigger main jet.

I hope my story is helpful and i really love the good work you have done!!

Die cilinder ken ik :P

Yes, that was your cilinder. :P. The 17,5 mm carbs works great on those A55 cilinders. Too bad 1 flow port is a bit closed, so i need to open it sometime. Then i'm going to do the whole moped, new paint, revise the clutch, maybe bigger intake/exhaust port etc. A week ago, my moped had a very good day and went over 71 km/h going down a bridge.

@cerar_slo, it takes time to adjust the carb, i know. But if you get it right, it will run great.

nice :D

Put the cilinder on a ATX manual engine than it's going 120km/h

calculated with 26-26 gears around 70km/h, it has top speed in a few seconds 8sec...

70 km/h with 26/26 is really nice. :) With 26 rear it accellerates very good. Wheelies!!!! :D

today I put on 22 rear gear
top speed is much better, but rpm's are lower
exhaust is made for high rpm's so i need to weld another exhaust which will be perfectly made for my cilinder

max speed calculated with 26-22 gear is 80km/h, but exhaust is made for high rpm, so I decided to make another
calculated and drawed in autocad, waiting to buy some rostfrei and cut it on CNC
