Opknappen 2002 Quadro

Turning your cylinderhead into a high pressure one with just sandpaper would be quite a time consuming task..

We do it here in sweden all the time, we place the sandpaper on piece of glass and sand on the head 1-2mm for high compression

Perhaps you know or could help me? The English forum doesn't seem to have any or few active users and I would not want to go on an American forum. They don't know anything but how to put on a 70cc ;)

I was thinking a 15/15 carb, either the original snele uitlaat or a bullet depending on how loud they are compared, a shaved original "snor" cylinder head and an original 50cc and polini carbon fiber reed valves (if they do any difference). This and maybe 26-26 sprockets.

I need to port too right? Tell me what porting you can do on the tomos a35 engine and how if you please. My uncle will help me do it, he has done it on many sachs mopeds so he isn't a beginner :D

If you want to achieve 60-65 km/h,you dont need some serios porting. As I sad earlier you should just lift the cilinder a few mm (max 2mm) and its almost the same as if you ported it,sand the head if you like, put on that bigger carb and 60kmh is guaranteed!

So i put the cylinder foot gasket, then a 1.5-2mm copper plate then the cylinder and i sand the head? Why does it work even :D

Because our forum is in native language (Dutch), it's not surprising that you see so few (active) users there. But the English forum is a part of our total forum, so everyone will see your posts as the forum will have flags up because of unread messages.

Beside that, do not expect that you will get a straight answer immediately as your question is more complicated than most of our users can answer in 1 post, or knowledge isn't present.

One thing I can give as advise, do not use a shaved "snorkop" or mofa (25 kph) head, but use a real cylinderhead of a 45 kph Tomos, because of the space inside the 25 kph head. Some have poor performance experience when using a "snorkop" that has been shaved as the compression ratio isn't even spread over the space as on a real 45 kph head.

Of course, adjusting (if possible) of ignition, bigger carburetor, rear sprocket fewer teeth (will increase speed, but lowers traction) and an expansion exhaust (will make more noise than a "Speedy" imitation exhaust) like an Endy reverse will make you achieve your goal.

No not just that, but this: "I would try to lift the cilinder for 1-1.5 mm to. So the exhaust and boost ports will open earlier, and will stay opened for a longer time. You can do it by making a 1.5 mm thick copper gasket and place it under the cilinder. Then you maschine the upper side of the cilinder the exact amount as you lifted it-other way you will end up with a smaller compression ratio. And take care that the lower sides of the exhaust and boost ports should be always in perfect level or below the piston when its in his BDC (this is not a crucial factor but its not a hard task to do it so you should). Note that this way the inlet port is going to be opened for shorter time-because you lifted the cil. But I think its not a problem because you have a reed valve intake so its opened all the time when there is vacum anyways (not sure about that :) ) . But off course this is only my opinion,i'm just a hobby tuner, and there are lots of smarter guy's then me on this forum so you should listen to them too. Check, and think about everything twice before you do it....hope you understand my-not so perfect- english :) . And please keep us updated, and give us some pictures of the moped when you buy it :D"
